Indirect Contribution
Indirect contribution means help to the family that is not money. Examples are running the home, caring for the children and supporting your spouse’s career.
Under Section 76 of Act 164, the court looks at these contributions when it divides property after divorce.
Why it matters: a spouse who earned less, or nothing, can still show they helped build the family’s assets.
